About Our Dog Boarding
Happy Tails Playcare is a group play facility with boarding available Monday-Sunday. Our boarders are well taken care of and are included in our daycare schedule, so they get to play all day while you are away! Rates can be found on our Rates page.
New to our facility? Evaluation Day Required
If your pup hasn't visited us before, we require a full-day daycare evaluation prior to their first boarding stay. This lets us make sure every dog in our care is a great fit for our fun, social environment — and gives your dog a chance to get comfortable before their sleepover!
Boarding Rates & What's Included
Our boarding is priced per night, and daycare is included throughout your dog's stay — so they'll have plenty of playtime and socialization while you're away.
Pickup Day Policy
On the day of checkout, dogs must be picked up during our morning pickup window, before daycare begins for the day. If you'd prefer a later pickup, your dog is welcome to join daycare and be picked up in the evening — this will be charged at our standard daycare rate.
Daycare is included during your dog's boarding nights only.
All dogs entering our facility must be up to date with yearly vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo, Bordetella) and, if over a year old, be altered (spayed/neutered). We can take intact dogs under 1 year old as they are considered puppies and will be charged the puppy rate.
We can accept intact adults for boarding but intact adults cannot be included in our playgroups, but are still cared for Solo, between our playgroups group with one on one play sessions and potty breaks.
Boarding Drop off and Pick up Hours
The day of your booking you may drop off your pet in the Am before we start daycare as its included in the nightly price. Sunday drop off or pick up is only 3-5pm.

Evaluation
Yes, All dogs are required to attend one day of daycare for evaluation before an extended boarding stay can be booked. After a successful evaluation day, you may then book your boarding bookings.
Included in Boarding
Yes, Free Daycare!
Your dog will receive daycare from the moment they are dropped off and until they are picked up. Boarding is charged by the night. Your dog must be checked out the following Morning by 9am (Mon-Fri) or 10am (Sat) after the last booked night or they can stay for daycare to be picked up in our Evening Pickup window. Sunday pickup is 3-5pm as we do not do daycare on that day but are here cleaning and caring for our boarders.
Spayed/Neutered
Yes, due to the nature of intact dogs both male and female we require all pets to be spayed/neutered.
Puppies
A Puppy must be a least 12 weeks of age and have all of their first round of "adult" shots and a Neg. Fecal Matter Test before they can attend Playcare or Boarding.
Vaccines
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Bordetella. Yearly Vaccines are required and must be in date in order to attend Daycare, Boarding, and Spa services.
Upload Vaccines
You can upload your pets Vaccine records under the vaccine section by logging into your account and clicking on your pet's profile. There you can upload a picture or PDF of the records and enter the expire dates for each vaccine. *This is your responsibility to keep up to date records on their profile. Pets with expired records may not stay at the facility.*
Discounts
Yes, we have a 10% off multi pet from same family discounts for daycare and boarding.
Pet Food
We ask that you provide us with the appropriate amount of dog food for the entirety of your pet’s boarding stay. We do not provide food or treats as every dogs diet is different. We do have a mini fridge for special diets or refrigerated foods.
Medication & Special Medical Care
Our staff can administer oral medications, eye drops, and ear solutions brought in by a pet parent during their stay. For boarding, there's a flat $15 medication fee for the entire stay — no matter how many meds or doses. We do ask that pet parents provide pill pockets to make things easier. All medications need to be clearly labeled with your dog's name, the medication name, dosage, and schedule so our staff can keep everything accurate and on track. Verbal instructions will also be discussed and entered on your pet’s boarding card prior to intake.
For dogs with more complex medication, wound care or special care needs, we handle those on a case-by-case basis and may require a separate care agreement prior to accepting a booking.
